Violet Lambies

Violet Lambies is a photographer and videographer based in Barcelona. For her master’s thesis on photo therapy as a tool to work through trauma, I co-coordinated a photoshoot with her, shooting portraits in different settings to reflect the emotions that are present in the aftermath of a traumatic event.

PRBB Volleyball

For the volleyball league and classes of the Parque de Investigación Biomédica de Barcelona (PRBB), I shot and edited promotional videos and photographed two tournaments, including both indoor games and beach volleyball.

Atenea Boxing

Keepsakes: An exploration of material narratives

My ethnographic film Keepsakes explores how Dutch migrants in Canada stay connected to their heritage through the cultural objects they keep in their homes. This film also served as the visual component of my master’s thesis at the University of Amsterdam.
